Tomos Dafydd Davies has been elected Deputy Chairman (Membership & Fundraising) of the Welsh Conservative Party.
His election was confirmed at the Annual General Meeting of the five Wales Area Councils, commonly known as the Welsh Conservative Party.
Commenting upon his election, Tomos Dafydd Davies said:
I am deeply honoured and humbled to have been elected by my fellow Conservatives as Deputy Chairman of the Welsh Conservative Party."
I hope my experience as a parliamentary candidate, local association chair, and wider private sector and board-level experience will be of real value and benefit to the party ahead of next year's crucial Senedd elections."
I am a committed Conservative who believes passionately in aspiration, free enterprise and our precious Union. Sadly, the Labour party has held back Wales for far too long, whilst many elected members in the Senedd march to a reckless nationalist drumbeat.
Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines. As Deputy Chairman, I vow that I will strain every sinew to make sure that we elect a Conservative First Minister, so that we can finally unlock Wales’ potential with an unashamedly pro-business and low-tax Government."
