There was another increase in deaths involving Covid-19 in Wales in the final week of 2020, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Across Wales, there were 278 deaths in the week ending 25 December, 22 more than in the week before.
Hywel Dda health board reported 36 deaths - its highest weekly figure in the pandemic so far.
Commenting on the news, Tomos Dafydd Davies said:
Today's announcement that Hywel Dda Health Board has recorded its highest ever weekly figure of Coronavirus-related deaths is yet another sobering reminder of the grave public health threat posed by this wretched pandemic. Whilst the UK Government has committed to a target of 2 million vaccinations every week, the Welsh Government has yet to commit to a comparable target of 100,000 vaccinations a week in Wales.
We owe it to the residents of Dyfed Powys and right across Wales to ramp up the roll out of the vaccine and to move at breakneck speed."
