Tourism contributes an enormous amount to the Welsh economy. I am really concerned that over-populating the landscape with wind farms might blight the precious scenery of Mid and West Wales.
Meeting the Government’s targets for alternative energy solutions is an important goal. But it cannot be delivered with no thought as to the natural environment.
The Welsh Government cannot be allowed to run roughshod over the concerns of local communities with the erection of major wind farms.
Only the Welsh Conservatives can be counted on to empower local decision making and restore trust and accountability to our politics.
