The agricultural sector faces huge challenges, not least the uncertainty caused by delaying Brexit. This is further complicated by the Welsh Government’s approach to the future of the Basic Payment Scheme. I believe there is a positive future for Wales' beef and sheep farmers outside the EU.

Our farmers produce some of the finest produce in the land and are poised to capitalize from the opportunities presented by an independent trade policy if empowered to do so by Government.
